Client objective:

Team Management Systems (TMS) had a bespoke Microsoft Access application that was custom written for their needs. TMS soon found that their system was vulnerable as it relied on a third party individual to make any updates, provide support and training on the application, when this person was no longer available to provide these services.

TMS needed to replicate the key process of their system but have it built on a platform that would provide the ability for ongoing customisation, updates and training and overcome the data migration issues from Access.

XpressCRM solution:

Team Management Systems selected the XpressCRM package with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which provided a sequel database (SQL) platform which overcame any data limitations they previously experienced.

The majority of the solution was delivered over the 5 day XpressCRM implementation, however an additional 2 days was required for the unique data migration requirements of moving from the bespoke Access database to a fully functional Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.

XpressCRM outcome:

The outcomes for Team Management Systems were dramatic. There was little or no data loss in the complicated data migration from the Access database and the solution was delivered in 7 days, which meant that there was minimal disruption to operations.

For Team Management Systems they now had no data limitations and had eliminated the risk of not being able to develop or support their system by using the Microsoft platform.

Employees found the familiar Outlook interface easy to use which increased user acceptance increasing efficiencies as thy no longer needed to switch between applications. Customer contact has proved more effective with more accurate and responsive communications.

Team Management Systems have a platform where they can update and evolve as and when they need to
